Double pour café is the culmination of a remarkable journey beginning since 1992 with The Sandwich Bazaar at Melbourne Central, Café Vista at Eastland Shopping Centre which led to Southland Shopping Centre with the iconic Intermezzo restaurant situated just across from Village Cinemas.
After a successful 15 year run at intermezzo, we ventured to the picturesque bayside suburb of Blackrock, where we established Intermezzo by the Sea. The allure of the seaside setting added a new dimension to our culinary journey. At the same time, we took over a café Piazza Vercelli on east boundary road in east Bentleigh.
Our path then led us to Aspendale Gardens, where we proudly took the reins of another Iconic Michelangelo’s restaurant, making it our own for a decade. Since 2021 it’s been great to be back in the Bentleigh area, where Double Pour has brought together the best elements from our iconic past.
Not wanting to rest with just Double Pour we decided to expand into Chelsea area to bring back the taste of our pizza and pasta. It’s been named Lucchinelli -The Godfather named after “John Lucchinelli “located 375 Nepean Hwy predominately takeaway.
